Stephanie Slack - - Topeka, Kansas
Stephanie “takes up the Slack” to keep her Kid’s Closet Connection sales successful. With her first sale in the spring of 2020, Stephanie’s sales cover the northern Topeka region, which benefit directly from having a cooperative retail model in a semi-rural area.
A native Topekan, Stephanie grew up in retail and is no stranger to work with her Kansas can-do attitude. An Elementary Special Education Teacher by day, Stephanie’s skillsets - - organization, a calming nature, deadline-awareness, adaptability and even-temperedness - - easily translate from the classroom to her Kid’s Closet Connection sales.
Surrounded by her husband, children and parents, Stephanie’s sales are a family affair. “I want my sales to be a way for the parents of children to engage in our community,” she says. “There’s not a lot of shopping opportunities for children in this area and look forward to not only filling that need, but also helping to create a friendship among these families.”
